We were so excited when Caleb contacted us asking us to help him plan a surprise proposal in two weeks for his girlfriend Angel. After meeting up with Caleb, we wanted to look for a location that was by the water with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. After considering a few places, Porteau Cove Provincial Park won our hearts. Located close to Squamish, B.C., with a breathtaking view of the mountains and the water, it’s no wonder the road leading to this location has been named the Sea to Sky highway.
Walking at Porteau Cove, we found the perfect little area along the dock to be used for the proposal. With two benches and a little arch way, it was the perfect semi-secluded area for them. Our concept for this proposal was to change it into a sitting area just for the two of them. From our discussion with Caleb, we knew that Angel would like something modern yet feminine. We decided to use soft pastels like pink, beige and grey as well as gold as an accent colour.
It was an absolute honour to be a part of this proposal and to create something that both of them loved. We are also very blessed to have this proposal featured on Rocky Mountain Bride.
We have shared our perspective of our vision for this proposal. To read about this proposal in the bride-to-be perspective, click here.
